LGO helps swimmer on his way to the world transplant games
In August 2009, the LGO performed at the Chelsea Christian Centre in Easton to raise money for 14-year-old swimmer, Chris Flossman, to attend the world transplant games held on Australia's Gold Coast. Chris spent most of his young life in and out of hospital and has had multiple kidney transplants. The LGO helped to raise over £350 during the evening to help Chris on his way to the games. Chris went on to win 3 gold medals in the 50m breaststroke, 100m backstroke and 50m butterfly. Well done Chris!
